Primary
Drinking Regulations
are regulations that cover contaminates that
have an adverse effect on human health. These include; Inorganic

Chromium, mercury, silver, & nitrate are usually due to manmade contamination.
Lead & Cadium are usually found in piping materials in the distributions system
and in household plumbing. Organics
- various herbicides and insecticides as well as trihalomethanes. THM's are formed
when chlorine reacts with natural organic compounds found in decaying vegetation. Turbidity
- these particles can be either organic material such as leaf mold & animal
waste or inorganic materials such as sand and clay. Microbiological
Contaminants - we run a Total Coliform bacteria test.
Secondary
